	The Cumberland Hotel is a 4 star property centrally located on the corner of Oxford Street and Park Lane, overlooking Hyde Park. The Cumberland Hotel's central location is within easy reach of all major financial and corporate institutions in the City and Central London.

Our new design led Art + Tech bedrooms offer contemporary style and comfort including power shower, plasma screen TV, entertainment centre, high speed internet connection and 'The World's Most Comfortable Bed.' Our Deluxe Rooms, also recently refurbished, offer traditional quality and comfort complete with radio, television, direct-dial telephone and tea and coffee facilities. All business guests will be automatically booked into our new Art + Tech or Deluxe bedrooms.

The hotel serves full English or continental breakfast in The Breakfast Room and light snacks and drinks in The Lounge Bar. The Cumberland Hotel is in the final stages of an exciting £72 million renovation and will be re-branded the Le Meridien Marble Arch in Autumn 2003. In the interest of our guests, renovation work is restricted to daytime hours between 09:00 and 18:00.

From Heathrow Airport - the approximate cost of a taxi from the airport to the hotel is £40.00. Regrettably, a courtesy airport coach service not available, the cost of coach is from £10.00. The Heathrow Express train to Paddington Station is £15.00 one way and there is a bus from Paddington that stops directly outside hotel costing £2.00. The approximate cost of the London Underground from Heathrow to Marble Arch is £5.00. The total travelling time is between 30 and 40 minutes.

From Gatwick Airport - a taxi from Gatwick airport to the hotel costs approximately £65.00. the Gatwick Express rail service to London's Victoria Station costs approximately £15.00 one way. Regrettably, a courtesy airport coach service is not available, but there are public coaches to Victoria coach station. The nearest train station to the hotel is Paddington, just 0.5 miles and Victoria coach station is a mile away. The nearest underground station is Marble Arch, on the Central Line, which is literally next to the hotel. The nearest car parking facility is 50 metres from the hotel and costs approximately £5.050 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 am and £28.00 for 24 hours
